Kassie's Cleansing Bath

Everyday we come into contact with various vibrations, others negative, others positive, but those low and dark ones, often leave us drained and moody. One of the best ways to get rid of them is to take a cleansing bath.

It's best to take the bath on Saturday, during waning Moon, as Saturday is the best day to remove negative energies and so is waning Moon. You can take this bath at any time you like, of course, especially if you urgently need energetic cleansing.

Try to keep it light and simple with preparations, just make sure to honor each element, offering something symbolic to each one of them.

Earth: Add half a teaspoon of pure, unrefined salt and use a natural, handmade soap, with no color or fragrance.

Fire: Light a black or grey candle - avoid white as you don't want fire to reflect the vibes you are trying to get rid of, you want it to burn and absorb them.

Water: Add a few drops of a cleansing, organic, essential oil, like lavender or lemon or you can add Moon Water, if you have it. Try to dunk your head under the water for a few seconds, as we hold so much tension in our heads.

Air: For the element of air, you can just use your breath, chanting a mantra or stating your intent to cleanse your aura and to restore energetic balance in your body. 

Cleansing baths are good not only if you feel 'off', but also when a new season begins or if you are planning to work with spells.
